Description
The award winning Back Office Assistant is a MS-Windows software package
for restaurants designed to help manage their food costs. It allows a
restaurant to keep track of inventory, orders, invoices, sales volume
and sales mix. It has the ability to suggest order volumes based on
sales. It imports data from existing POS equipment that it then uses to
calculate food cost percentages, menu item profit contribution, overused
and underused products and recommended reorder quantities.
Financial management capabilities are included. A/P
and sales data are collected and formatted for review in cash and sales
reconciliation functions, store performance reports, profit and loss
recap report and export to third party accounting systems at the store
or HQ level.
Features for central control of the system are
built-in. The recipes are maintained at HQ, menu and price changes are
downloaded over phone lines to the stores automatically. Store data is
recorded modularly and easily uploaded for consolidation and analysis.
Four levels of security maintain data integrity.
Supports unlimited number of menu items, bar and
liquor databases, liquor/beverage reporting.
